Indoor water fountains provide individuals a unique opportunity to enhance their homes and living space. The trickling water makes a soothing and peaceful sound which most people desire to hear. We often see that dentists, doctors and psychologists place indoor water fountain in waiting areas. This creates a soothing atmosphere for patients who are waiting. Some water fountains are small as to fit on the table or shelves, while others are large which has to be placed on the floor.
There are also some water fountains that are suitable for hanging on the walls. There are some water fountains that have practical use such as cat and dog drinking water fountains. Water runs down a slope in the fountain as to make the pets feel water is coming from a mountain stream. This kind of fountain provides clean drinking water to your pets even in your absence.
Some small water fountains operate with batteries and do not require power supply. These are usually designed to sit on tables and shelves. They also have water circulating system so you don’t need to refill it with water every now and then. However, water in these types of fountains is subject to evaporation and individuals need to monitor the level of water occasionally. If the water level reaches too low, it can burn the motor and damage the fountain.
Large indoor water fountains often come in the shape of urns. They sit on a foundation with rocks at the bottom. The foundation prevents any water droplets from wetting the floor around the fountain. The water from the urn bubbles up and creates a soothing sound which most people desire to hear from their fountains. They do not need to be attached to a water supply as the water keeps circulating within.
Also available are solar powered water fountains that are placed near windows. Fountains which do not have power cords hanging down have clean and neat presentation.
