On Your Own With No Load Mutual Funds

Without all the extra sales commissions why wouldn’t everyone go with no load mutual funds? Probably the most likely reason is some people need someone to tell them what to do so they feel good about it. If the investing world scares you then you probably depend on your financial advisor or stock broker to give you suggestions on what to buy based on your financial situation. This is really good for getting focused results, but at a costs. You have to pay for the middleman somehow so there is always the tension that he may be choosing what’s best for him and not you. If your in this situation and you don’t have millions to invest please go with a simple index fund that mimics the market. The advice on investing isn’t worth the fees, spend the money on career development or personal finance habits first.
